Strainer Home Coffee Roasting
By Karolos | May 11, 2008 | No Comments »
I just finished editing a new video showing how to roast coffee at home using a mesh strainer!
There are a lot of different methods of homeroasting using popcorn machines, heatguns, woks… but I haven’t seen anyone using a mesh strainer, so this must be the first place you see mesh strainer homeroasting!!!
In order to roast coffee with this method you must have a gas burner (or equivalent stove) and a stainless steel mesh strainer (to spare!).
Watch the video below and post your comments!

More Greek Coffee Options…
By Karolos | May 11, 2008 | No Comments »
I really like Turkish coffee (also known as Greek coffee) and that’s one of the main reasons I created FreshCoffeeShop. After researching the market for Turkish coffee suppliers I decided to use Sambacafe as my main supplier.
BUT was it enough?
All the reports from the searches in FreshCoffeeShop showed that there was sth missing. People searched for big brands they knew and trusted like Loumidis and Bravo.
So I decided to add more offers in the Turkish coffee category. You can now choose Sambacafe Turkish coffee (highly recommended) or choose Loumidis and Bravo Greek coffee.
One of my personal favorites is Loumidis Arxondikos because IMHO it is a much better blend than the common Loumidis coffee.
Would you like to see more offers? Post your comments below!

Greek Product Pages
By Karolos | February 18, 2008 | No Comments »
I feel a bit embarrassed… Although FreshCoffeeShop is located in Greece (and that’s the reason we have such good Turkish/Greek coffee and coffee mills), I hadn’t translated most of the pages to Greek.
It took just a couple of days to translate most of the product pages to Greek. I took the decision to translate the pages after watching the traffic from Greece rising considerably.
So if you know Greek visit our Greek coffee store

Stainless Steel Ibriks
By Karolos | February 16, 2008 | No Comments »
At first we wanted to stick to tradition and only offer high quality ibriks made of copper and brass (ibriks are turkish coffee pots also known as cezve).
Due to the high demand for the modern stainless steel ibriks we added 3 sizes of stainless ibriks in our product range.

These stainless ibriks are made to last because of their reinforced bottom plate. You can also use them on any electric stove top without any problem.
