Greek Product Pages
By Karolos | February 18, 2008 | No Comments »
I feel a bit embarrassed… Although FreshCoffeeShop is located in Greece (and that’s the reason we have such good Turkish/Greek coffee and coffee mills), I hadn’t translated most of the pages to Greek.
It took just a couple of days to translate most of the product pages to Greek. I took the decision to translate the pages after watching the traffic from Greece rising considerably.
So if you know Greek visit our Greek coffee store

Friendly URLs
By Karolos | February 18, 2008 | No Comments »
At last! We got rid of the long cryptic URLs pointing to our products.
Forget about all the strange URLs.
If for instance you want to visit the Greek store homepage go to http://www.freshcoffeeshop.com/el/
Nice, isn’t it?

Stainless Steel Ibriks
By Karolos | February 16, 2008 | No Comments »
At first we wanted to stick to tradition and only offer high quality ibriks made of copper and brass (ibriks are turkish coffee pots also known as cezve).
Due to the high demand for the modern stainless steel ibriks we added 3 sizes of stainless ibriks in our product range.

These stainless ibriks are made to last because of their reinforced bottom plate. You can also use them on any electric stove top without any problem.

20 Days Without Internet!!!
By Karolos | February 16, 2008 | No Comments »
Yes it’s true! I requested an upgrade of my internet DSL connection from my ISP Otenet, in order to get 10x speed.
3 weeks later they saw the request… and they tried to upgrade the line.
The result was that I had no internet connection for one week. After calling more than 10 times my ISP a technician called me and she said they made a mistake and locked my connection.
Naturally the speed I got back was the slow old speed. The next day I lost my internet connection again and after one week my ISP Otenet told me that it was not their fault but a problem with my phone line (OTE). They report the problem to OTE and after 10 days I got back my Internet connection with the new speed.
The mistake they made was more than stupid. They set the speed as 12Mbps instead of 8Mbps!!!
If you live in Greece don’t buy the Otenet OnDsl kit. CONNX is better. That’s a friendly advise!
